Today is one of the most sad days in history. Today 3000 Americans died in New York. Today a new era began with an act that triggered many political situations. the American campaign of war on terror which leaded to conquer Afghanistan and Iraq. People of Europe and America felt the danger and fear which many middle easterners felt before by the same ideologies of hatred which spreaded by the operations of the same organizations of terrorism. Algeria was shaking by some groups which was running streets killing people and ,specially, journalists. Terrorists targeted civilians in Cairo. It was the same enemy. but many Westerners thinkers and politicians didn't think that way. They get it as this enemy targeted the wetern civilization only. they forget what this enemy did before for other nations in the middle east. They start to draw pictures of Muslims like terrorists. many westerners consider any Muslim to be a terrorist. they think to be a Muslims to be a terrorist. whole world should remember that terrorists started first with their own people. As we can see in Iraq, They are killing Muslims, explode mosques. Then, we can conclude that whole world faces culture of hatred. hatred for The Other. Whoever that other : other in religion, in ideas or in attitude.
Israel made a big use of this accident actually.Israeli politicians wouldn't let it go easy.They rushed to the cameras and microphones declaring that they face the same enemy trying to tell Americans a message "You see now how we are suffering since along time!!" trying to distort the picture.Trying to mislead people around the world. To totalizing the picture of terrorism to contain all Arabs and Palestinians. No wondering, as Israel bombing Lebanon, Israeli officials declared that they support democracy in the middle east by targeting lebanon!!. The Israeli democracy costed Lebanon about 1000 killed civilians.Tens of Palestinians homes destructed by IDF. supporting democracy also !!!.
Now the world is so much dangerous place. terrorism is a hidden enemy, is a ghost, inflamed by Israeli insistence for Palestinian lands.Ossama bin land and his followers get more and influence power by every israeili acts in lebanon. invading iraq didn't achieve anything but giving those terrorists the proof of their words. they told people many times that America wants to destroy the Islamic world or to convert Muslims . after what hap pend in Iraq. they shout and screamed " here what we told u about many times ago. they started by Iraq" and this is the terrorism use of 9/11.
at last we can say that the evil powers in world get the best use of 9/11 to . whether they are terrorist or governments. but one should look at the main roots of terrorism which sprang from injustice.The only war on terror we can use is to help the poor in the third world, spreading justice and equal rights not by sending troops there to topple regimes.
finally, one moment of silence for all Americans died in 9/11.

" TYRE, Lebanon (CNN) -- The last time I sat down to write something, it was about the cost of war. As I looked ahead to the coming days, the last words I wrote were: Who will die?

Today, I found out.

Standing in front of this 8-year-old boy lying in a hospital bed, the "conflict in the Middle East" and the "cost of war" seem endless and suffocating. His pain cannot possibly be imagined as he shakes uncontrollably in and out of shock. He has blood coming from his eyes.

His name is Mahmood Monsoor and he is horribly burned. In the hospital bed next to him is his 8-month-old sister, Maria -- also burned. Screaming at the top of her lungs is the children's mother, Nuhader Monsoor. She is standing over her baby, looking at her son -- and probably thinking of her dead husband. The smell of burned flesh is overwhelming.

This story, for the Monsoor family, started out as a typical one, probably one that most of us have experienced. They had simply gone on a family vacation to some lovely sunny beaches, but these beaches were in southern Lebanon.

The six of them, like thousands of others, were fleeing the fighting -- trying to get north, waving white flags, when an Israeli bomb or missile slammed into their car.

The father, Mohammed Monsoor, was killed instantly. His children all were wounded. His wife, who is now crying over two of the wounded children, was in the best physical condition. But as would be the case for any mother and wife, her life, in many ways, ended the minute the car exploded into flames.

The other two Monsoor children, Ahmed, 15, and Ali, 13, are in surgery. Doctors can't tell me if they will make it. They walk away, their heads shaking. Optimism is not a word that breathes truth in this place.

There are more than enough stories like this, in hospitals across southern Lebanon. This hospital, on this day, seems to be a microcosm of the region. Less than 100 meters from the front door of the hospital, a car is on fire. Less than 30 minutes earlier, the car exploded as an Israeli jet circled overhead. The fog of war has crept into the hospital, and no one knows where the casualties of that strike are being treated.

Just days earlier, staff at this hospital were moving bodies out to make room for more. Like an assembly line of the dead, unless the bombings stop, they will be doing the same tomorrow.

The city of Tyre has been enduring stories like this for more than a week. Buildings are crumpled; those who have not left are hiding in basements. Those who dare to pack into cars run the risk of ending up like the Monsoor family. Some who move north die on the road. Some stay in basements, and die there. Others hope against hope that the bombs will fall elsewhere -- missing them.

Politics creeps into the ward like the blood that runs on the floors. "Clearly he is Hezbollah," says one of the doctors outside the room -- sarcastically referring to 8-year-old Mahmood, whose screams can be heard from the hallway. His screams now blend with the wails of his mother, matching the baby's cries.

The hospital ward begins to teem with members of the international press. They all have blue flak jackets that say "press" on the front. They carry microphones, cameras, radios and satellite phones, and have local guides to translate.

Today, as I finish I am sitting in the same spot and the shells are still falling. Hezbollah rockets are firing toward northern Israel.

I'll finish by asking another question: Are any of us making a difference?

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday acknowledged mistakes in the war against Hezbollah as the Israeli government confronted widespread criticism and political recriminations over the conflict.
The anguish, disappointment and confusion are widespread among soldiers who believe their leadership sent them to war unprepared, among residents of northern Israel who say their government abandoned its most vulnerable citizens, and among a public that believes its prime minister has left them open to future attack by agreeing to a cease-fire many think is not permanent.

First Sgt. Dima Gurevich, a 22-year-old reserve soldier in a tank unit, returned from southern Lebanon this weekend feeling anything but victorious after coming under attack by Hezbollah fighters.

"I do not think I was properly prepared and trained for this operation," he said from his bed in the hospital where he was being treated for cuts. "We did not have a good assessment of their capabilities. Tanks and armored personnel vehicles are being hammered by their antitank missiles. It's unconceivable that soldiers are being sent to battle in Lebanon not knowing what to expect."

When Maj. Gen. Avi Mizrahi, the head of the Israeli military's logistics branch, was asked Monday about the complaints of many soldiers that they did not have enough food to eat during the combat operations, he told Israel's Army Radio: "If our fighters deep in Lebanese territory are left without food or water, I believe they can break into local Lebanese stores to solve that problem." washington post

Four United Nations observers have been killed in an Israeli air strike on an observation post in south Lebanon. UN Secretary General Kofi Annan said he was "shocked" at the "apparently deliberate targeting" of the post. Israel has expressed "deep regret"!!!.

The bomb made a direct hit on the building and shelter of the observer post in the town of Khiyam near the eastern end of the border with Israel, said Milos Struger, spokesman for the U.N. peacekeeping force in Lebanon.

Rescue workers were trying to clear the rubble,

but Israeli firing "continued even during the rescue operation," said Struger.

The victims included observers from Austria, a Canada,

China and Finland, U.N. and Lebanese military officials said,
